Biography

From the Boreal Forest to Stages Around the World

Performance: “ Tinka” www.lunidea.com

I was born in a vast country that no longer exists, into a large family of scientists that no longer exists either. Of Slavic and Scandinavian heritage, my childhood was shaped by historical events now taught in schools: the Chernobyl disaster, the collapse of the Soviet Union… My mother took me on scientific expeditions all the way to the shores of the Arctic Ocean. Once, I even spent three months living in the boreal forest — a truly extraordinary experience. It is perhaps no surprise that I began writing my first stories at the age of eight.

Later, I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in literature at the University of Kyiv and trained in dramatic arts, specializing in directing, at the Karpenko-Karyi Institute. At the age of 22, I moved to Switzerland, completed a master’s in business management, and worked for five exciting years at the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne.

As my passion for writing and theatre grew stronger, I went on to stage productions in London’s West End. My artistic career, which began in the UK, is presented under the “Performances” section. Between 2014 and 2025, I also taught dramatic arts and directed twelve productions at the legendary Institut Le Rosey in Switzerland.

I never fully left the corporate world. After reading the visionary Handbook on the Experience Economy, published in 2013, I was inspired to develop a series of corporate workshops, drawing on my diverse hands-on experiences in the field.
